I'm going to try this. It's a big jump for me, both in courage and pride. I've needed help for too long and always afraid/timid/fearful to ask. I never want to burden anyone, and it's hard to ask for help. I've been personally turned off by people asking for help online, probably judging them  directly because I judge myself. However, there's another way of looking at this: even selling a product is a request for help. It's a trade offering. I offer you what I can do, in exchange for money. And I'm still offering my art. We are all offering something to the world, in exchange for financial incentive.

Having a membership feature means that I'm stepping over my old convictions, judgements, and any semblance of pride, and reaching out in a different way. Perhaps this will lead to new forms of expression and  new fuel for creative work.
